On this page

This policy explains what information Aponte Rojas Immigration & Legal Solutions, PLLC, d/b/a PAR Law (PAR Lawyers), receives through this website and how it is used.

What this website collects

This website has no accounts. Its only form is the consultation booking form, described below. It does not show advertising and does not track you across other sites.

Like any website, the company that hosts it keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

If you accept analytics cookies, the website also uses Google Analytics, as described below. If you do not, no analytics code is loaded.

Booking a consultation

If you book a consultation on this website, you give us your name, email, phone number, preferred language, the topic of your case, an optional short description, an optional court date and country, and the names of other people involved. We use them to run a conflict-of-interest check, to schedule and confirm the consultation, and to contact you about it. The form is kept in the firm's private case-management system and is never sold or shared for marketing.

The consultation costs $200. If you pay online, the payment is processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy; the firm never sees your full card or bank account number. If you pay by direct deposit, your bank handles the transfer.

Confirmed consultations are held on Microsoft Teams. The firm sends the invitation and the booking emails from admin@parlawyers.com, through Microsoft 365.

Sending the form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not include confidential details in it; the attorney will ask for what he needs during the consultation.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, a notice asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, the website does not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager and does not set any analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are deleted.

If you accept, Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that can last up to two years unless you delete them or withdraw consent. It collects the pages you view, the page that referred you, the time of your visit, your type of device and browser, your approximate location (city or region, derived from your IP address; Google Analytics does not store IP addresses), and whether you clicked a WhatsApp, phone or email link. It records only which kind of link you clicked, never your number, your email address or the content of any message.

We use this information only in aggregate, to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Google Analytics advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and the data is not shared with Google for its own products or advertising. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Google processes it as our service provider under its data processing terms; see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

The website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, analytics stays off and the notice is not shown. Browsers' "Do Not Track" setting is not an industry standard, so the site does not respond to it separately, but declining in the notice has the same effect.

The website also stores your cookie choice in your browser so it does not ask again on every page. That record contains only your choice and its date.

When you contact the firm

The buttons on this website open WhatsApp with a message you can edit before sending. You can also call or email the firm. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to send, along with your phone number or email address, and we use it to answer you and to assess whether we can help.

Messages sent through WhatsApp, phone carriers and email providers are also handled by those companies under their own privacy policies. Consultations are held by video, and the video platform handles the call under its own privacy policy.

Text messages (SMS)

If you agree to receive text messages from PAR Lawyers (for example, by texting us first at (305) 916-4130 or by agreeing during a consultation), we will text you about your consultation, your appointments and the status of your case. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and consent are used only by the providers that send messages on the firm's behalf.

How information is used and shared

The firm uses the information you send only to respond to you and to provide legal services. It is not sold. It is shared only with service providers that help the firm operate, when the law requires it, or with your consent.

Information you share while seeking legal advice is treated as confidential, as the rules of professional conduct require.

Your choices

You can ask what information the firm holds about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, subject to the firm's legal and professional obligations to keep certain records. To make a request, contact the firm using the details at the bottom of this page.

Information from people who contact the firm but do not become clients is kept for as long as the rules of professional conduct and the state bar require, and then deleted.

Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to get a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising.

The firm does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and does not use it to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Analytics runs only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time with "Cookie settings".

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@parlawyers.com. We will confirm your request, may need to verify your identity, and will respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will answer the appeal in writing. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and the firm does not knowingly collect personal information from them through it. Questions about a child's immigration matter should come from a parent or guardian.

Visitors outside the United States

The website is operated from the United States, and information is processed there. If you visit from the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place with similar rules, analytics cookies are used only if you accept them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Security

The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents or details through WhatsApp, email or text until the firm asks for them during a consultation.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
